HAMILTON-T1
Find monitored values and waveforms
Use the Monitoring window for the complete numeric list, then configure the lower graphic panels for pressure, flow, volume, loops, or Dynamic Lung.
Check the unit: Button paths below were verified against the U.S. software 3.0.x manual. On the ventilator, open System → Info to confirm its software version and installed options.
1Find numeric monitored valuesMonitoring → General
- Touch Monitoring.
- Open General.
- Move through the General tabs to find values such as Ppeak, Pplateau, AutoPEEP, driving pressure (ΔP), Cstat, and Rinsp when available.
The main monitoring parameters shown on the home screen can differ between ventilators. The Monitoring window is the reliable place to look for the full list.
2Display pressure, flow, or volume waveformsTouch a graphic panel → Waveforms
- Touch the graphic panel you want to change.
- Touch the Waveforms tab.
- Select Pressure, Flow, or Volume. The selection window closes and the panel updates.
- Repeat with another panel if needed; the T1 can show up to three waveforms.
Useful troubleshooting view: Pressure and flow together, with volume added when the leak or delivered-volume pattern matters.
3Display Dynamic LungTouch a graphic panel → Graphics → Dynamic Lung
- Touch the graphics area in the lower half of the display.
- Open Graphics.
- Select Dynamic Lung.
Dynamic Lung can display the ventilator’s calculated static compliance (Cstat) and inspiratory resistance (Rinsp), along with other configured information.
4Know when the numbers are less reliableEffort, leaks, and noninvasive modes matter
- Active breathing can add artifact to Cstat, Rinsp, AutoPEEP, and related calculations.
- In noninvasive modes, the manual states that AutoPEEP, Cstat, Rinsp, and several other numeric values cannot be used for reliable analysis.
- Interpret displayed values with the waveforms, mode, leak, synchrony, and clinical examination.

Button paths and monitored-parameter descriptions were checked against the HAMILTON-T1 U.S. operator’s manual for software 3.0.x. Hamilton currently advertises newer 3.1.x software, so labels, enabled options, and available functions may differ on the unit in front of you.
