Tachycardia / hypertension after intubation

Pain/awareness and inadequate sedation are common, but do not miss hypoxia/hypercarbia.

Consider

  • Pain/awareness, hypoxia, hypercarbia, inadequate sedation, sympathomimetics, seizure, withdrawal, or underlying disease.
