Look for
- BP drop after PEEP/pressure increase.
- Low EtCO₂ from reduced perfusion.
- High intrathoracic pressure in obstructive physiology or ARDS.
Rescue pathway
Hypotension: positive-pressure effect
PPV and PEEP can reduce venous return and affect RV output.
